Wow, 11 years old. It's almost scary how fast time has flown by. His time here in our house, is half-way over. I almost can't remember how we got here. It seems like it was just yesterday, that Brandon and I were just new parents and thought we had it all figured out. Luckily for us Kaden inducted us into parenthood pretty easily. Unfortunately for us, the next one ruined all of our thoughts that we were the perfect parents. Kaden has always been the easy going one in our family, however these tween years are showing us a new side. He has always loved sports, I guess it started with all the intramural games of Brandon's we sat through. He could drop kick a ball just about as soon as he could walk. And he could hit a tossed ball with his bat by the time he was 15 months old. We have loved watching him play all his sports, he sports an intensity that is almost scary sometimes. His brothers love him, quite often we will go into his bedroom to wake him up and there will be an extra in his bed and another on the floor. He tries to be helpful and kind to all his friends and his brothers, and do good at his school work, even though his mind is on recess. All in all, he is a great kid!
Just so that I can remember how sweet and little he once was!
