Another season down, so much learned, and so much further to go. The boys finished up their baseball season in Moses Lake, which was partly a relief and part sad. Kaden's team did really well, only losing one. Sawyer's team on the other hand I think only won one. They both made the All-Stars team, but the commitment wasn't something that we could do. All my life growing up, playing on Sundays wasn't even something that ever even had to cross my mind. But when it's your child, and you know the opportunities that will be opened to him if he just compromises on this one little thing, it really makes you have to think. Truly it broke my heart to see how badly they wanted to play. For Kaden, he was fairly confident that he would make one of the teams. For Sawyer, it was a huge accomplishment that he didn't think he would achieve, specially given his teams record. Secretly, I was really pushing for them to choose to not, not just for the Sunday issue, but they wanted the parents to help with fundraising, and I am, and probably always will be, horrible at asking people to donate.

Both Kaden & Sawyer were stars on their teams--Fun to watch both of them. Spending a little more time together will compensate for not traveling to Moses Lake for all the practices.
