My mom doesn't like to sit still. Her philosophy is "If we aren't out doing things, then we aren't making memories". With 10 kids, getting out and doing things is tiring. However, about 45 minutes away is a great aquatic center that the kids love. The two older boys are starting to lose interest, but then they help out with the little ones.
Detton is getting braver, he went down the slide by himself. Last time he wouldn't even go down it with someone.
And then "play-it-safe" Ben. My sis-in-law gave the kids swimming lessons a few weeks ago, and boy did they improve. This is Ben jumping off the side of the pool, not too long ago he wouldn't even get off the steps.
Lauren always the independent one.
On our way home, my dad wanted to stop by and visit the old family cemetery. When I say old, I mean like the first-members-of-our-family-to-join-the-church-and-move-West old. But the cemetery really is beautiful, if that is possible, the grave stone are amazing works of art that just aren't made anymore.
