Basketball Saturdays

Most of our Saturday's are spent watching basketball games. Well, Sawyer found that he liked watching it a different way. Check it out!!

This is how he really plays ball, any game that he makes a basket, he goes home happy. He's #1 on the blue.

We had to include part of Kaden's game, this was the toughest team that they had played all year. Kaden is the biggest kid on his team, so he gets to play center, he does very well at it, but he thinks he would rather play a guard. The opposing center was a tough kid and Kaden had to battle, maybe a little too much. Brandon said that he was sitting next to the other player's parents and they were telling him to throw Kaden an elbow. I'm glad Brandon was sitting next to them and not me. Brandon almost said something to them, if he almost said something, it is a guarantee that I would have, and it may not have been very nice. Not that Kaden isn't perfect, but at least we weren't telling him to play dirty, he has just inherited a really competitive gene from both parents that naturally tells him to fight back. Sorry Kaden. Any way, the game was not a high scoring game. It ended with Kaden making a free throw, he was 1/6, and tying the game. We came down, got a turnover, pressed the court and got fouled on the shot with seconds left to go. Luckily, Kameron Thuesson made the free throw, so we won by one. Fun to watch, stressful on us. Kaden is #3 on the red.
