Knights Under the Lights

Royal has a really great tradition of letting the Grid Kids play a game under the lights to end the season. And so the season came to an end. Kaden's team won most of their games. Sawyer's lost all of theirs. He did however score the only touchdown of the year this game (he was actually tackled about a foot short, but time had expired, they were going to lose anyway, so they gave it to him-shh, it's our little secret, he still doesn't know).

This was the second to last play of the game. Sawyer had intercepted the ball and ran it back. The next play he "scored". Sawyer and some of his friends.
I had to put this picture in of Kaden's teammate. Notice anyone that look misplaced? Story goes that Kaden's coach decided they needed a little size on the line. They found the coach wondering the 6th grade hall, found this kid and recruited him. Never played a day of football before. He was bigger than Brandon. He has since gone back to Mexico for the winter, he would make a heck of a center on the basketball team.
They only put about 16 kids on the team so that everyone get plenty of playing time.
