ThanksGiving Weekend

November 26, 2009
My boys had been so looking forward to going back to Idaho for Thanksgiving, it was almost more than they could handle. We set up a little Turkey Bowl with Kaden's Madison football teammates and tried to talk a couple of Sawyer's friends into coming too. We inticed them with doughnuts and hot cocoa. Quite the crowd showed up.
We had abouth 25 kids running around showing off.
We even had enough to do an "old man" game.
I think Brandon misses hanging out with his friends just as much as the boys do.
It's amazing how fast boys can polish off 3 dozen doughnuts and 3 gallons of hot cocoa.
After the football, we stopped by to see Jace. It was good to see him smile so big.
Playing the Wii.
After a great Thanksgiving Dinner, we took all the kids to a jumping zone that is located in the back of the local theater. They had a great time.
Keep in mind that Lauren is 3, and this was a huge slide. CRAZY!!!
They even talked Grandma in to getting in on the action.
Not sure who's feet these belong to.
A couple years ago, some friends introduced us to the world of cutting your own Christmas tree. So to keep the tradition alive, Friday morning we set off with the whole family to find the perfect tree.
The Grunt Laborers
After we all had our trees, it was back for lunch. Eating is just what we do best.

Then it was time for a little sledding.
The older boys, who think they are worlds toughest, got dumped quite a few times. Played so hard, we wore them out..... both of them, at the same time.
