Who really labors on Labor Day? Well, those who have limited amount of time to get things done. Mark and Ashley were building a house that needed a front porch put on. Brandon built the trusses, and then we helped put them up. Unfortunately, the lumber supplier misread the plans and gave them the wrong support beams, which none of us caught. So they had hire someone to come jack up the porch and put in the right support beams. It really makes me want to just run right out and build a house. It seems no matter how prepared you are, something always goes wrong. This day also officially marked our one year anniversary of moving to Washington.
