The Halloween That Would Not END!

 October 30, 2010
Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, so we celebrated on Saturday.  Three straight days of Halloween was a little much.  Luckily, Ben was the only one that wanted his face drawn on.  Our neighbors invited us up to the pond for all sorts of fun.  They had soups and different yummy foods to try.  Fun games for the kids, even a cotton candy machine!  Grandma flew up to help us clean up the house,  the laundry had taken over my room.  And despite Brandon's valiant efforts to keep the house clean, it was just dirty.
Ben and Lance trying to eat a donut without their hands.  Pretty messy.
The jump house
Surprise! Brandon and the other boys playing football.
Later that night we met at the church for a trunk-or-treat.  Living out in the country, I love trunk-or-treats.  We're done in 30 minutes.  We didn't have to load and unload the kids a million times.  And it's just enough candy, but not too much.
We couldn't talk Kaden and Sawyer into dressing up.  But after we got there, Sawyer decided that he wasn't quite too old to go Trick or Treating after all.  Kaden called himself Urban Meyer, and helped hand out candy.

I love when you post because you go all out. Lots to catch up on. I especially appreciated your "growing pains" analogy. Miss you!
