October 3, 2010
Since it had been a whole month since my parents had seen their precious grandchildren, they decided to make the long trek up here. It was really fun to see them and try and go do things (nausea rules my days, and ruins my nights).
The weekend wouldn't have been complete without sitting through a few football games. Here's Sawyer taking a snap, white shirt and all.
Kaden waiting to receive the kick-off in he "tough guy"stance.
After the games, the boys went and did a round of golf. Then we hurried over to Seattle. Grandma and Grandpa took Kaden and Sawyer to a Mariners game. Once again, they sat almost on the field. Brandon took Ben and Det swimming, and I was just there.
The next day we went to Woodland Park Zoo. It was great. The summer season was over, and there was hardly anyone there for us to annoy. Please send me back to Idaho where 4 kids and pregnant was a normal, not a menace to society.
We had hardly been walking at all, when Detton pulled the "I can't walk any more, my legs are soooo tired"
Grandpa is always a sucker for a cute little boy with Cheshire Cat smile.
This poor pathetic orangutan, just sat there with his burlap sack over his head.
We went into the bird house, where Grandma bought a feeding stick. The boys all decided that we needed a pet bird.
Surprisingly, he didn't freak out, in fact he loved it!
A trip to Seattle wouldn't have been complete without eating on the pier and walking the market. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun weekend.
